I got my Tumor removed!
Updated: Jun 11, 2020
Can I just say God is good. This been long over due for me. Let me give a little back story. I first found out about my Lipoma in 2016 when I was pregnant with my daughter. I gave myself a self breast exam. It was a dime size at the top of my rib cage. I freaked out so bad because it was so close to my breast and I didn’t know what to think.
I wanted to wait to get it removed until I had my baby girl but discovered I had a cyst on my ovary that was causing me to stop walking maybe about a year after giving birth. My cyst grew big enough to twist my Fallopian tube on my left side. Doctors said they couldn’t save my tube and it was completely dead. Chances of me having more kids decreased a great deal. Luckily for me a different doctor was able to save my Fallopian tube ( Always get a second opinion) and I got pregnant again in 2018 with my son.
To god be the glory.
Now fast forward to June 2020 my lipoma grew to 5 centimeters and was causing me discomfort. Today June 8th I finally got the tumor out of me. I’m so relieved but still have to wait for my test results to come in to make sure it was nothing serious. Procedure took about a hour and I got put to sleep through an IV. I don’t even remember closing my eyes. I woke up and was out of the hospital by 9am. Currently in pain but it was all worth it.
